Senior Manager Financial Systems-Accounting-Chicago
The Senior Manager Financial Systems works closely with the Director of Accounting and Managing Director of Operations to effectively manage Deltek Vision and other financial system applications.  
  • Lead the configuration, implementation and ongoing monitoring of the Deltek Vision application 
  • Act as a finance subject matter expert for system integration efforts, partnering with our technical systems team
  • Plan and coordinate testing changes, upgrades and new services, ensuring that systems will operate correctly in current and future environments
  • Oversee integrations between Deltek Vision and other applications and ensure successful communication
  • Identify efficiency improvements to the Deltek Vision system on an ongoing basis
  • Establish policies and procedures related to maintenance of the Deltek Vision application, and 
  • Create, manage, and maintain custom workflows and user defined components
  • Create custom reports and dashboards
  • Audit and manage Vision security roles 
  • Coordinate with accounting, HR, IT, marketing and project teams
  • Liaison with Deltek and related vendors 
  • Assist the PMO in the development and delivery of training to Project Managers, Studio Leaders, Operations Directors, and Managing Directors.
  • Supports development of the roadmap for advanced analytics and decision support tools
  • Work with Director of Accounting to develop Financial Analysis & Planning (FP&A) processes via Deltek Vision or other software applications.
  • Understanding of Project and General Ledger Accounting processes and workflows in a professional services environment 
  • Ability to comprehend and assist the global finance organization in building requirements for its financial systems enhancements
  • Possesses experience and high degree of proficiency using the Microsoft Office software suite (Excel) and general accounting systems; able to learn new applications, procedures and processes quickly
  • Conforms to a high degree of professional standards of conduct by being honest, ethical and maintains appropriate levels of confidentiality 
  • Identifies complex problems and reviews related information to develop and evaluate options and implements solutions; shows persistence in the face of obstacles

  • Deals with high stress related situations in a calm, decisive and effective manner; maintains a professional demeanor at all times
  • 8-10 years of Deltek Vision experience
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance or a minimum of 5 years’ experience in a similar position with proven success in the Professional Services industry (preferred)
